What nurse appointments may include
Our nurses already support many aspects of patient care, and we are exploring whether some services could be offered as dedicated nurse appointments.
• Immunisations
• Wound care and dressings
• Ear syringing
• Iron infusion supervision
• Blood pressure checks
• Travel health support
• Chronic disease monitoring
• Care plan follow up support
We’re currently assessing demand and may introduce the most requested services first.
Why we’re exploring this
Nurse appointments may provide a quicker and more cost effective option for appropriate care, while also helping keep GP appointments available for more complex medical concerns.
